In Reconfiguration by E. Alan Fleischauer. The focus is on the recent increase in the life expectancy of the average American, which now translates into more years to live past retirement age. Thus, there is an urgent need to develop a strategic plan to address the years ahead.
In this document, we receive detailed suggestions on what to do to prepare for retirement while on active duty. This information has been presented from a professional perspective, with the caveat that readers should consult with experts for more detail and guidance. This book has thirteen chapters, and each chapter focuses on key topics such as the best retirement plans, investment plans, and insurance plans, to name a few.

This book is not only informative, but it is also very motivating. I learned that the word "crisis" can have different meanings, and does not necessarily mean a form of risk or danger. This point is supported by facts: "Crisis is perceived differently in different cultures. In China, the symbol for crisis is composed of two characters. One character represents danger or pain, while the other represents opportunity."
I appreciated the various questions and evaluations at the end of the book, as they were quite thoughtful and engaging. The most important element that caught my attention was the additional external links that could help readers learn more.
To me, this book was well-edited.

The fact that E. Alan Fleischauer used Wikipedia as a source struck me as rather odd. This site is not very reliable. However, this is only a detail because the book as a whole is quite richly documented.
The financial terminology in this book can be difficult to grasp while reading. Therefore, many readers will certainly need to go through the book more than once to better understand it.

Dealing with a subject as daunting as retirement planning and the personal finance issues that go with it is no easy task. However, the author has used a style that allows the reader to relax and enjoy himself while being richly informed.
for such a comprehensive presentation that encourages preparation while mixing in humor. This book deserves a 4 out of 4 stars rating for presenting essential advice on how people might live happily ever after retirement. Again, the frequent jokes the author inserted into the book were funny and kept me on my toes until the end.

I highly recommend this book to every reader, young or old, entering college or the workforce. Especially to those who are mature enough to consider strengthening their finances in hopes of a more comfortable retirement.
