Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat is a children's book by R. F. Kristi about a Siberian Kitty named Inca. Inca considers herself a detective and is the leader of her cat detectives. Her animal detectives group consists of two cats: Fromage and Cara, a dog, Terrance, and a hamster Charlotte. Their human mother is Missy, who takes them to South Korea, where she is invited to be a judge in a cooking context and present her new cheese. The cat detectives befriend a Korean Dog when they try to solve a mystery of a sister lost for a long in North Korea. They cross the border to North Korea. Will they be able to help the sister come back home? Read this book and find out.
This book was great, and children will like it. The author uses animal characters and makes them act like humans. The cat detectives try to discover a mystery that would make the children see the animals' creativity, thus, like the book. I like how the author tried to teach the children the importance of animals. Using animals as characters to do creative things would make children appreciate the importance of animals and develop a love for them.
There was nothing to dislike in this book. It was great, and the author used simple language understood by children. She ensured the sentences were short since short sentences motivate children to read a book. She used diagrams in the book, encouraging kids to read the book and enabling them to have a mental picture of the cat detectives.
I rate Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R. F. Kristi four out of four stars. The book was explicitly edited; hence, I found no errors. It had many positive aspects and no negative aspects; thus, deducting a star would be unfair.
I recommend this book to children between five to twelve years. The content contained in the book would be so appealing to children due to its simplicity. The children should love animals since the characters used in the book are animals.
