JT's world, by E. Alan Fleischauer, is a book based upon the culture of the Wild West or the Old West. The main character, John Thurgood Thomas, a rich man who spends his days spending his money as he pleases. He makes plenty of friends and enemies throughout the story—not owing to his riches, but because of the encounters during a trip he took following some tragic incident in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The book was well-balanced in the aspects of suspense, action, and romance. The suspense—especially when you think that a character is about to die, but there is always a sick twist and he/she (the character) ends up surviving. I found the amount of suspense satisfactory and engaging the whole time. The action—inclusion of guns and violence was truly entertaining. It goes to show how well the book was written. Lastly, romance — I love how the details about the sexual encounters were enough to entertain, but not too vulgar, as I dislike too much detail.

To be honest, I do not have any complaints regarding the book. It was well edited and a good read for me.

I would rate the book 4 out of 4 stars as I cannot complain about anything in the book.

The book has quite a lot of sexual content. For example: “JT reached over and held her hand, observing her womanly curves and large, firm breasts. She was as flawless a woman as he had ever seen, and her beautiful, long,” It also contains some content that offends certain religious beliefs against homosexuality. For instance:“Besides, you hadn’t slept with her in God knows how long!” He pointed at Dalton. “You were sleeping with your bartending buddy,” I know that this example may seem a little vague, but there are more encounters throughout the book that imply that the characters had homosexual relationships. An audience with people that are not necessarily open to such (i.e., Christians) may not enjoy it as much. There is also some profane language that has been used, for example: Aaron pointed at Billy. “Goddammit, he killed her.” The mentioned example is minor profanity. The most borderline profane language, including; The man stepped away from the bar rail, glowering. “Goddammit, man, you clumsy SOB.” That is why it is best if audiences below the age of 18 not read it. Adult audiences are best suited, and they should have an appetite for a bit of violence and sexual content.
