Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a book about the kingdom of Voulhire, which has more than its fair share of problems. However, at first glance, you would not immediately tell the land is so troubled. This imaginary world is changing fast, and there is an identity crisis facing the residents of this make-believe world. The situation is made worse by the presence of powerful people who are trying to push their own agendas. Tensions keep rising, and nothing about the future is certain. Fortunately, an immigrant is willing to do everything it takes to make sure the kingdom's hope for the future is not extinguished. Obviously, that will not be an easy job.
The book is very well-organized, and you will have no problem following the story with its many exciting twists and turns. The main characters are strong enough to keep the story interesting and suspenseful. The protagonist and the antagonist are well-matched, and that is sure to keep you guessing how things will turn out in the end. Also, the author describes scenes and characters with a lot of depth, and this makes you feel like you are experiencing everything that's going on in the story in person. Also, despite the book's sophisticated themes, the story is very easy to understand.
There isn't much I did not love about this book. The story is interesting, the characters are memorable, and the text is very entertaining. Still, the story does not exactly move at a very brisk pace, which might impact your interest in the story, albeit slightly. Also, in the end, I felt like there was more to learn about the Land of Princes. That said, there is little I did not like about the book. As I read the novel, I felt like I was part of the story, which is not something you are always guaranteed to get when reading fictional texts.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is professionally edited, which is why I give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.
We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is a book I would recommend to anyone who loves and appreciates an immersive and dramatic story. You are sure to enjoy this story, which has been so masterfully written. Even if you are not a fan of this genre, chances are that you will be glad you took the time to read and enjoy it.
