[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
A super-detective cat named Inca is the head of the detective agency Inca & Company. Their notoriety has moved to France, London, and England. All praised the magnificent artwork of the regal Siberian tiger that had been hung on the wall. The Korean peninsula was thought to be home to the Siberian tiger. After a beautiful meal, Mom informed Solo that she had been chosen as one of the judges for the French pastry competition. Attending this event will also give Mom the opportunity to introduce her brand-new cheese. Unfortunately, mom met Enzo, another of the chosen judges, at the airport, and they discovered that the cheese was missing. This incident then presents an opportunity for Inca and her team to display their best detective skills. Will they recover the cheese?
The book has images full of color, making it more enticing to the intended audience, which is children. It is also well-paced, and children will love how the story progresses. My favorite character is Inca because she is a quick-thinking cat. Children will learn a lot from the characters in this book. They will learn things like thinking objectively to solve problems, teamwork, and courage.
This book's storyline and plot both appealed to me. Because of how engaging the plot was, I was able to finish the book in one sitting. I learned more about the Korean peninsula as well. The book piqued my curiosity to learn more about North and South Korea. In this novel, the author did a great job of describing the various characters. I also applaud Kristi for using straightforward language to deliver this wonderful story. Children can acquire a lot of moral lessons from this book.
There was nothing unfavorable I could say about this book. The author avoided using profane language because she wanted to appeal to her intended audience. I am rating Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi 4 out of 4 stars for the above reasons. I didn't notice any errors while reading the book. Therefore, it was exceptionally well-edited.
Young readers and adults who enjoy animal stories should read this book, in my opinion. In addition, this novel will appeal to people who like reading detective and investigative fiction. If you are searching for a thrilling book to keep your kids busy, then you should get this book for them.
