The book Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a guide to navigating your life toward a happy retirement. It emphasizes the importance of having a good financial plan to truly enjoy one's retirement. Even though its central focus is on the retirement aspect of finance, Reconfigurement still talks about other financial information that is important in an individual's life. For instance, it breaks down the concept of health and disability insurance in a way that can be said to be "for dummies." It also provides information that is invaluable when a person is transitioning from one career to the other after retirement.

One positive aspect of this book is how informative it is. Alan wrote this book for those approaching retirement, but in my opinion, this book is important for everyone since it touches on some important financial issues like budgeting and saving. This book explains various financial concepts, which helps the reader easily understand these otherwise complex concepts. This is one of the things I enjoyed about this book, and I believe everyone should read this book since it contains so much information necessary to keep our finances in order.

Another thing I enjoyed about this book is the writer's style of writing. Alan uses a rather unusual style to deliver this masterpiece. The author writes this book in the form of a discussion between two best friends who speak to each other every day. This makes the reader feel at ease while reading the book since the author addresses the reader as he would a good friend. This is another positive I encountered while reading this book.

This book contains many jokes, which help to lighten the mood of the book and also serve as an anchor to bring the reader back in the event they zone out while reading the book since it is rather wordy. This is something I'm sure most readers would enjoy. These jokes help lighten the mood of this serious financial discourse and also put the reader in a calm mode to face some of the rather boring topics discussed in this book. Alan was aware that some of the topics may not have interested some readers, and he advised the reader to skip some parts he knew were wordy or uninteresting. The presence of these jokes helps one to read through these parts.

While reading this book, I did not come across anything that hindered my enjoyment of it. As I formerly mentioned, this book is rather wordy, but the presence of the jokes mitigates this factor and also eases the enjoyment of this book. Furthermore, I did not encounter any grammatical errors while reading this book, which is a testament to how well-edited this book is.

I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because it is a highly informative and educative book that treats various financial issues, which would help all those who are approaching retirement age and young people who need to better understand finance.

I have read many reviews of this book and have not found one that was bad. I guess that this is something that everyone needs to think about.

Its quite difficult to see something negative in a book as educative as this.

I'm guessing it's due to the fact that it is an excellent read. Alan Fleischauer really did a great job
