[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Retirement can lead to major personal issues with equally serious social consequences. The timing of retirement, financial support for the retired, the creation and provision of new responsibilities, the maintenance of social connections and health, and living arrangements are among the most important of these. These serve as evidence that everyone planning to retire to a more fulfilling life after years of "work" should have a copy of the book Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer in their possession. Its main objective is to set up a smooth transition into the retirement season. It conveyed the plans, resources, and assistance needed to ease the transition. Therefore, in order to produce the desired retirement season, it must also go hand in hand with dedication and determination. I would therefore venture to state that Reconfigurement is a great preparatory tool.
E. Alan Fleischauer went into detail on the products, services, and resources needed to make the goal of retirement a reality. Among the numerous subjects covered as they pertain to life after retirement were: investment options, life insurance, Medicare and Medicaid, wills and trusts, and finding your match. Since it's anticipated for people to work after retirement age, even if it's low-paying work, to support their overall well-being, the author wrote extensively about the necessity of taking career assessment tests online that would help retirees locate suitable employment for their personality type.
E. Alan Fleischauer's distinct writing style appealed to me. Knowing that reading on themes like this may be highly tiresome and monotonous, he wrote in straightforward language for uncomplicated communication and did well by peppering it with jokes at the end of each chapter and throughout each lengthy subtopic to keep you interested. I could follow along easily and comprehend it. In the book, the author relates some of his experiences. It helped his message be more relatable. He has provided many tools or product options in each area covered to make decision-making simpler, so readers will feel confident as they anticipate their retirement.
The enormous confidence and reconfiguration this book gave me as I anticipated my upcoming retirement in the far future made me delighted I persevered with reading it. I love the format and editing of the book. For the aforementioned reasons, I give the book redesign a score of 4 out of 4.
I recommend this book to people looking for a book that will guide them in developing a retirement plan. They would benefit much from it because it provides the tools needed for careful preparation. This book will keep you on course if you have already begun preparing but have become disoriented.
