R.F. Kristi takes entertainment to a whole new level in the book titled Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula. It is an amazing read.

Inca, the Head of a Detective Agency, solves another crime with her incredible team members. The kitty and her friends accompany Missy, their human mother, to South Korea for a French Patisserie competition; she has been selected as one of the judges. Ye-jun, the guide they meet in South Korea, is looking for his sister, who has gone to North Korea to visit some relatives. Can Inca and her team solve this case? Find out the book.

I love the characters in the book. The author developed each character perfectly. Fromage is my favorite character in the book. The way he boasts about being the sole creator of Missy's cheese and his obsession with cheese made me laugh.

The author portrayed teamwork in the book. Inca appreciated the opinions of her team members, which led to their success. This book is highly educative. Readers can also learn about Korea in the book as the author describes places vividly. I also love the pictorial illustrations in the book and the font style the author opted for. It grabs the reader's attention. The writing style is also straightforward to understand.

Baram's faulty character description is the only thing I disliked about the book. In the early parts of the book, Baram is portrayed as a female dog. While reading the end part of the book, the author refers to Baram as a male dog. This made me confused while reading. Other than this flaw, I enjoyed the book.

Furthermore, I found no grammatical or typographical errors in the book due to its professional editing. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. It is a satisfying read. Though it is the eighth book in The Inca Cat Detective series, it can be read without prior knowledge of the series.

I recommend this book to children who love adventures and animals. Parents can be comfortable with their children reading this book. It is entertaining and informative.
