[Following is a volunteer review of "JTs World" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
With well-developed old and new characters, memorable dialogue, cowboys' wildest gunfights, and a dash of romance, JT's World by E. Alan Fleischauer is the fifth and closing chapter of the JT Thomas Adventure series. This story centers on the life of John Thurgood Thomas, who is trying to recover from his fiancée's death, Annabelle, during most of the story. The death of Annabelle deeply affected J.T. Thomas. He found it impossible to pursue another committed relationship until he met Jessica, who opened his heart again and became his second love.
JT divided his time between Colorado, the base of his detective agency, and Arizona, where he built an enormous amusement park. But troubles quickly arise when the story is triggered by a murder in JT's new bowling alley at the amusement park.
To escape the pressures on JT's shoulders, Madeline suggested he take a trip to Colorado with his ranch workers to relax and gain some perception. JT starts his journey to collect cattle for his ranch with the help of his ranch workers. As they travel, they encounter bounty hunters on the lookout for a wanted criminal. The story escalates to a great adventure and fights in trying to catch those criminals, who were twin outlaws’ brothers. So, have they been caught? You can read all that in this amazing book.
Throughout the book, I really enjoyed the author's writing style; it was very intriguing and helped me comprehend how the story was supposed to flow. The book also had fascinating details, such as the characters' backgrounds and the fight scene, which completely captivated me while reading it. JT's World by E. Alan Fleischauer provides a mixture of adventure, thrills, humor, and light romance. The storyline was well-written, and I enjoyed a lot of exciting events while reading it.
There was nothing for me to hate about this book. On the contrary, it was a thrilling and exciting tale that had the reader hooked from the first page to the last. which made it impossible for me to put it down until I finished reading it.
I think this is an excellent book, both written and edited; it's a fitting end to the series. And even though it's part of the JT Thomas Adventure series, it can also be read as a standalone. I give this book 4 out of 4 stars since it was such a worthwhile read.
Readers who enjoy adventure, mystery, and murder cases with a touch of romance will enjoy this book, especially those who are fans of western-style tales.
