Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
The book We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is a fiction, and one of the ongoing series of We Are Voulhire by Matthew Tysz. The author, Matthew Tysz, wrote this book highlighting different points of view. One of which is Galen, an immigrant from the Lands of the Princes, a country destroyed by war, who had the opportunity through the property left for him by his wealthy great-uncle to move to Voulhire, a prosperous nation. We also came across Wilhelm, king of Voulhire, trying to rebuild the coastal town with the help of his loyal subjects destroyed by two tyrants. Also, the chancellor is known throughout Soulhire for his perversions, and he detests the king. Another important character is the wizard imprisoned on a remote island heavily guarded by an entire army of soldiers.
I like this book because it takes a reader on an imaginary trip. This book comes in a series and ignites the desire of wanting more in reading the further sequel. The author, Matthew Tysz, did outstanding work making this happen, showing a magnificent author's creation. The book's ending points out that there are more exciting scenes to be revealed, which will make readers, without a doubt, need to follow up. I love that there's a map in the book which shows the world of Voulhire, its personality, and its place in the multiverse for curious readers to take notice of a more in-depth gaze into Voulhire.
One positive aspect of the book is that the map will help bring readers on a trip to Voulhire, as the locations of every city are shown on the map. The author's inclusion of science and magic in the story was phenomenal, and he also did fantastic work creating a realm where the natural and supernatural world co-exists.
There's nothing to dislike about this book. However, this book might not be suitable for children, teenagers, and young adults who tend to like the excitement of a book to pick up quickly and lack the patience to wait for the story to get going. Reading it myself, I noticed it took quite some time for the excitement in the story to begin; however, once the excitement got going, readers will find themselves enthralled with the initiation to an exceptional series.
The book We are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies is impressive, excellently edited to ensure no grammatical or typographical error, and well-structured. I give a rating of 4 out of 4 stars.
I recommend this book to readers of fiction and lovers of fantasy novels. Great work from Matthew Tysz; this book is top-notch.
