[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
Inca and her crew had just arrived from Sri Lanka after a valiant mission to save the nation's heritage. They learned that their mother (Missy) was contacted and asked to serve as one of the judges for a competition that was taking place in South Korea. She also has the chance to introduce a brand-new cheese recipe.
Inca and the other pets were excited when they got this news. They were eager to set out on yet another overseas trip. On their way, while they were on the plane, an incident that threatened to keep their mother from competing occurred. Enzo, her rival, doesn't seem to have any admirable intentions for her. They met Ye-Jun, their designated guide, as they landed. Ye-Jun reassured them that they shouldn't worry about accommodation, as it was difficult to find lodging. Would Inca and her crew be able to shield their mom from any problems this rival might cause?
This book has some positive aspects that endear it to me. First, the author's writing style really made me ecstatic. The author chose her words with great care. The book was easier to read and comprehend as a result. Second, the author added pictures, which made the book even more interesting and fun to read. I think the intended audience would adore this as well. Furthermore, I imagine the purpose of this book is to teach kids about different cultures. I greatly appreciate the author's effort on this. Children need to be educated about the cultures of individuals from other countries. I am so happy that children will have a lot to learn from it.
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is both educational and adventurous. I did not encounter any errors in it, which shows that it was exceptionally well-edited. Honestly, there was nothing I disliked about this book. Therefore, I am rating it 4 out of 4 stars.
I would recommend this book to parents who want to provide their children with both educational and entertaining storybooks. I enjoyed reading Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi. Any adult who loves reading well-written children's books will enjoy it too.
