"Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead" is a book written by E. Alan Fleischauer, who has more than twenty years of experience as a financial advisor. This non-fiction book is mainly targeted towards people. Who are planning to retire or, in other words, everyone who has a job. The book contains a lot of information about how to work a job that you love, have fun doing it and, of cores, how plan for your future. It covers the planning process, career assessments, life insurance and social security. Some chapters are about 401k and IRA, medicare, investments, wills and estate.

This book is full of useful information. All chapters are clear and easy to read and understand for anyone with basic school knowledge.

"Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead" is filled with themed jokes, stories, and insights from the author, for example, Mr Fleischauer writes about mid-life crises and even tho I'm in my 20 and didn't experience it yet, an explanation of how in china the sign for crisis is made of two symbols one meaning pain and danger but the other for opportunity resonated with me, because no matter the age we all experience difficulties in life but within those difficulties, there's a seed of potential and good.

The only part that I didn't like about this book, and I am being picky, is that the chapters of the book do not have titles, so it's difficult if you are looking for a specific topic or quote. Also, the author goes deep into terminology and its origins, and even tho some readers might find it amusing, I didn't find it interesting I mean E. Alan Fleischauer goes deep into some old policies, and even tho it's on the topic I can't stop to ask was it truly needed to understand the topic?

Overall "Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead" is simple to understand but touches on some complex topics. I rate it as a 4 out of 4, and even tho I'm not the author's targeted audience, I know I will read this book again and again at different stages of my life.

I recommend this book not only for people in their retirement age but also for everyone with a job because no matter what you do with your life, this book can help you better understand how to get ready for your future.
