Review of Man Mission

[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
Man Mission: Four Men, Fifteen Years, One Epic Journey by Eytan Uliel is the true story of four friends who travel around the world on an annual basis in search of answers to life's more profound questions.One of whom is the author of the book, recounting his tales of traveling the world with his best friends and exploring their dynamic within the group. This memoir spans fifteen years’ worth of going on adventures, birthing a brotherhood, and going through the highs and lows of life together. Grab a copy of Man Mission and become a part of this epic journey.
The best part of reading Man Mission by Eytan Uliel was the bonding between Sam, Alec, Daniel, and Eytan. Their comfort with each other, resulting in smooth camaraderie and deep conversations, really makes this book worth reading. Eytan has written about his life and friendships with depth and beauty; reading Man Mission makes me inspired to cultivate such close friendships in my life.
The idea of taking trips across the world annually as a tradition is surreal to me. It seems like a therapeutic way of healing a year’s worth of stress with the support of nature and your closest friends. The journey will surely result in a much closer bond and also in growing as adults, sharing life struggles, supporting each other through obstacles, and overall coming out as a much stronger brotherhood.
There is not much I disliked about Man Mission except that the length of the book could have been reduced. Some bits of the storytelling felt repetitive, but it did not hinder my enjoyment of the story. And neither were these negative aspects enough for me to deduct a star from the rating. Although some of their activities were repetitive, each brought a different perspective to the conversation among the men, and reading it was filled with fun.
The book is exceptionally edited; I did not find any errors of any kind in the book. Man Mission by Eytan Uliel was a pleasure to read, and I give it 4 out of 4 stars.
I recommend this book to avid adventure readers who like to read about friendships and going on trips. This book especially focuses on male friendships, which are rare, and from a man’s perspective; however, any reader will enjoy it. Man Mission by Eytan Uliel is not suitable for children because it contains references to adult topics and a moderate amount of profanity. Young adults will enjoy Man Mission because it presents a lot of life lessons for them in memoir form.
