[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Financial literacy is a great asset in life. It is vital as it helps one make tough decisions. It gives one the necessary knowledge about the financial system. A financially literate person can plan, and it helps them manage emergencies better.
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book that centers on making financial retirement plans. Having worked in the financial sector for years, the author is well-versed in the matter. He gives advice on how to manage money while working to have enough when retirement comes. He talks about life expectancy in America; how it has risen over the years due to advancements made in the medical field. How it also relates to being financially stable The retirement age and how it came about are also highlighted in the book. The author offers advice on how to navigate life and have financial freedom. To find out what advice he gives, grab a copy.
Each chapter tells its own story; there is something unique to be learned in each chapter. The author gives a different perspective than the one seen in everyday life. His perspective on handling financial matters is helpful. While reading this book, I began thinking about my future. This book made me realize that time waits for no man and that planning is essential in life. I enjoyed reading the little stories about the author's experiences; they were fun and inspired me. I learned about the importance of budgeting, and it's been helpful in my life.
The author is quite funny, and I enjoyed the jokes he wrote to ease the tension. The author referenced facts and didn't just write from his head. It shows the amount of work and research he did; I admire that about him. I always loved it when the author referenced historical events in the book. I found no flaws in the book. It was clear and concise, making comprehension easier. The book's title sits well with me, and I can't think of a more deserving title. I learned about the value of money and will find that knowledge helpful in the future.
The author simplifies the book so that readers who are not in the financial industry can understand it. I found no errors in the book, indicating it was exceptionally well edited. I happily give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to those who work in the public sector. I also recommend it to those who plan on retiring early.
