[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a children's book that even an adult would gain a lot from after reading it. The story in this book is about a cat family, and the main character of the book is a cat named Inca and his friends, who together are called Inca and Company.
It all began when Inca's mom, Missy, a cheese maker who recently developed her own special cheese, La Crème de la Crème, was selected as one of the judges for the French patisserie competition in South Korea organized by La Cordon Bleu. Missy will be able to share her unique cheese with the world in South Korea, and Inca will get the chance to fulfill a lifelong goal of seeing a Siberian tiger by traveling there. But on getting to South Korea, things changed, as it happened that their tour guide Ye-jun and his sister Ji had been long separated from each other and would want to be together. Will Inca and company be able to reunite the siblings? Read this book to find out.
Until I read this book, I never imagined that I would appreciate a children's storybook as much as I did. It is safe to conclude that this book contains a wealth of lessons that are useful to both adults and children. The love and harmony in the Inca family is one lesson I will take with me for the rest of my life. Above all, readers can gain knowledge about friendship, unity, bravery, fortitude, tenacity, and sacrifice by carefully reading the book.
I can't help but point out that the author's writing style is compelling and makes the book easy to read and comprehend. Another positive thing about this book that deserves to be mentioned is the plot. The use of pictorial illustrations to depict each of the characters meant that they were accurately portrayed and that it was simple to distinguish between them.
There was nothing negative I could notice in this book; therefore, there is nothing I dislike about it. No typos or grammatical errors were obvious to me, which indicates that the editors did an amazing job. In light of this, I would give this book a rating of five out of five stars. I would recommend this book to children aged 6 and above, teens, and adults who enjoy reading children's stories.
