Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a novel that talks about people planning ahead in their businesses before or after retirement and loving the jobs they do. It shows how people's life after retirement needs to be planned for since most of the people retire without saving enough money to sustain their retirement life. This is because most people work towards retiring not planning for their life after retirement. This novel is also based on the American's age of retirement that is to say 65 years of age. It also contains various ways on how to plan ahead after retirement for example tools on the web, insuring your life, social security facts, investment choices among others.

According to this book, Reconfigurement encourages people to work harder, invest and save enough money to help them during their retirement life as E. Alan Fleischauer believed that experienced, innovative financial advisors and other practitioners need to break with the traditional approach and spearhead the research necessary to answer questions like how do you go about incorporating them into your reconfigured life? When do you start, how do you plan, and what are your goals? Among others. This enables the retired people to live happily and longer as they might still be employed past their retirement age.

However, this novel does not favor the poor people since reconfigurement is mostly based on money as E. Alan Fleischauer explained that reconfigurement is based on a number of things, but first and foremost, it starts with income. If you don’t have income, it’ll be difficult to reconfigure the next chapter of your life. Not impossible, but tough. So, let’s assume, at least for now, that income is important.

I rate Reconfigurement 5 out of 5 stars because this book was professionally edited. I managed to find only two errors in this book that is to say one non- debatable and one debatable error.

I recommend this novel to working people aging 40 years and above and the already retired people to acquire knowledge on how and why they have to reconfigure their future life.
