Reconfigurement is an insightful book, highlighting and reiterating the need for a better retirement plan. E. Alan Fleischauer is the author of the book.

The book starts with the author's praise for increased longevity among Americans, with due honor to medical innovations. He further argues that with this good news comes many complexities involving money. The author figured out that for a longer life, a retirement age of sixty-five would do more harm than good. He states that a pension will not be able to cover living costs and medical bills, and some of these workers might still want to continue their careers instead of sitting and wasting away. Finding this gap, the author fills it with a plethora of advice from his advanced research. He samples various insurance plans that cover the different needs of workers, spews some rich investment ideas, and clears up the confusion about estates, wills, and trusts. This book covers a wide range of answers to questions that many have yet to consider. Why not hop on the ride and stay one step ahead?

E. Alan Fleischauer was extensively candid about many issues in this book. He was also honest about how boring these topics might be and included many hilarious jokes. The issues considered were thought-provoking and highly important for this time and age. The author was also generous to leave a list of books that further expounded on his points to ensure readers understood perfectly. I like this statement made by the author. It says, "Remember, Reconfigurement is about Planning ahead."

I appreciate the author for his thorough approach to handling money issues. The author did his best to carry his audience along, as tedious as the topics were. I like how the author reiterated the importance of reading documents and agreements, especially insurance policies. He explained how they must cover what the buyer wants. We are all guilty of signing contracts without boring ourselves with long exhausting details. However, it is crucial to read the details of clauses before signing, especially for sensitive deals like buying insurance.

I disliked nothing about this book except its tiresome and corny jokes. The book was exceptionally edited, as I found no errors. This book contained valuable information that would come in handy and be extensively crucial in making significant decisions. For these reasons, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend this book to readers interested in building a stable and life-proof retirement plan. This book provides all you need to know about planning.
