John Thurgood Thomas, best known to his friends as JT, takes a trip to Colorado with Buck, his ranch foreman, and other employees. The decision to go on the trip is a last-minute one, as he wants to take his mind off things. JT has an ongoing construction of an amusement park known as JTs World, which he intends to make the best destination for families and adults. The complex features a hotel, theatre, doctor’s office, a bowling alley, carrousels, and the highlight, a Ferris wheel. The grand opening is, however, not what JT envisioned. The bowling alley had just hosted its first corpse. While still investigating the death, JT and a detective, deputy Mathews discover two more dead bodies after following sounds of explosions. JT then decides to follow Buck to Colorado after persuasion from her ward, Madeline, who is also the daughter of his late fiancé Annabelle.

JT encounters some travelers on his journey and helps out whoever he can. Unknown to him, the journey is more adventurous and life-threatening. JT meets Chip Heller, who survives by tracking and killing wanted men and then collecting their bounty. JT also finds love but is unsure whether he will let go of his past love Annabelle, who has reincarnated.

Alan Fleischauer narrated the adventures of JT in JTs world in the most captivating way. The author vividly describes every detail, whether a person's physic or a building's appearance. I could tap into my imagination by reading through the words throughout the book. The twists are also quite unpredictable, which makes the book even more interesting. What I loved most about JTs world is how every story was a build-up of the next chapter. My favorite character is Annabelle, who is dead but believed to have reincarnated and saved a life or two. The way JT holds on to his true love's memory is exceptional, even when he meets other attractive women, but for how long?

I would say I disliked the introduction of new characters and so much information on them that it felt unnecessary initially. Not only did it feel irrelevant, but it could also have been clearer, especially at the start, when I was trying to understand the context. However, after reading more, some of the information made sense and allowed me to understand the root of villainy in some characters. The background checks will enable the reader to connect more with a character and understand why they were who they are.

This book is a 5 out of 5 stars because of the creative way Allan brings words to life. Despite the dislike for unending background checks and new character introductions, I still wouldn’t deduct a star because it all came together in the end. The book is professionally edited with no errors making it easy to follow through. I recommend Alan’s JTs World to lovers of adventure and readers who have gone through other Western series books.
