Le Cordon Bieu is a French cookery school known as one of the top cookery schools in the world. They have invited Mom to be one of the four International judges in a cooking competition organized by the school. Mom decided to go with a detective agency known as Inca & Company to introduce her new cheese business.

Enzo was also a judge that have been invited to the competition. He came to greet Mom where she was sitting on the plane to chat with her. Meanwhile, he has always shown he does not mean well to Mom, probably because he has gotten information about her new cheese business. When they came down from the plane, they started looking for the cheese box. Who stole the box? Were they able to make it to the competition? Read Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi to find the answers to the questions above.

The author gave the historical background of some places such as the freedom bridge. This also includes the war that occurred between South Korea and North Korea. Readers, especially children can get a vast knowledge of the history of Korea. Also, they will be able to pay attention to little details and increase their thinking abilities in critical situations. I like that they used various abilities of each member of the detective agency possessed to carry out their activities. I won't fail to mention that the author did an amazing job of including bright and colorful pictures, to further portray what she has written.

This is a children's book and as such, the characters need to be well explained so that the targeted readers can be carried along. I like that the characters were well described like Enzo, Ye-Jeun, and so on. The description matches the pictorial representation of the characters. I practically laughed at some scenes, especially at the scene where a policeman approached them at the airport after creating a scene.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. I found a few errors that did not prevent me from enjoying it. As a result, I will rate this book five out of five stars. I could not deduct one star because of the positive reasons stated above. I would recommend this book to children who enjoy solving mysteries, as they will learn a lot from Inca & Company.
