Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a children's book of mysteries involving cats and dogs. The chief character is a Siberian cat called Inca. Inca's mom makes a slice of cheese and is invited to Cordon Bleu Cookery in Korea by a cooking competition to present her cheese and be a judge as well. A man named Enzo steals Inca's mom's cheese on her way back from the cooking competition. Inca and her family set up a detective team to unravel the mystery of the theft of her mother's cheese. The quest is met with more mysteries to unravel.

This is a very interesting book. The intelligence the animals exhibited was great to read about. How they tracked Enzo and planned on finding the missing Siberian tiger named Bomi proved that the author really worked on his animal characters. He endowed them with good attributes like the spirit of teamwork and heroism.

Another thing I will commend the author for is how well-edited the book is. It is free from errors, and the plot arrangement is perfect. Each idea, chapter, and piece of content followed the others sequentially and logically made sense. I stayed glued to this story right from the beginning to the end.

Also, I love the suspense in the part where the search for Bomi happens. I am certain that this is the aspect that children readers will feel most attuned to.

Last but definitely not least, the book contains a lot of morals to teach children. They include unity, kindness, teamwork, and companionship. Children will learn a lot after flipping through the pages of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula.

I don't find anything negative about this book. Therefore, I give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The book was exceptionally edited because there were no errors. I would recommend this book to children between the ages of 5 and 10. They would understand this story better.
