Review of Murder in the Garbage

[Following is a volunteer review of "Murder in the Garbage" by Jerry A Greenberg.]
Raoul Martez was a former military police officer seeking direction in his life. He decided to get a college education by attending night school and getting a job at a waste disposal company as a garbage collector to support his decision. He finds himself on the front lines of the mystery surrounding the death of the CEO of a waste disposal company, not knowing that he will find himself a girlfriend.
Hank Boucher, a former Navy SEAL. He had decided he was too old to keep up with the army after a nerve-wrecking mission made him retire. He became a CIA agent because he needed a job that would put his military training to good use with a bit of action and a less traumatic experience. On his first mission as a CIA agent, they assigned him to recover stolen military materials from an air force base. Now, how is the death of the CEO of a waste disposal company related to stolen military materials? Is there any connection? And can Hank be successful in completing this mission?
One thing that I always love about this book is the author's descriptive skills. In Murder in the Garbage by Jerry A. Greenberg, the author displayed his creativity to the fullest. In each scene, it was like watching a live drama or a movie. You can see the characters and the scene as you read the book. And there was a good dose of suspense and betrayal within. not forgetting the social difference between the rich and the poor.
Also, the way he changed the point of view in each chapter from one character to another without confusing his readers helped me understand each character's personality and their thoughts. Especially Raoul, who was a humble, sincere, and relatable character. Just like me, he graduated from high school unsure of what would come next.
I noticed an error in the name of the waste disposal company, which was changed from Triangle Waste Management to Trinity Waste Management in later chapters. Also, I felt like there was still more to be told in the book. It left me wondering what happened to Janet after she fled and why the CIA and FBI didn't find out what happened to James Ballas. Apart from these, the book was well edited and free of errors.
Despite all this, the book kept me hooked until the end, and it was a good read. I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to all who love books on crimefighting and the investigative and undercover work of the CIA and FBI.
