Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
I've been wanting to read the book We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies. It was a fortuitous break for me, I have to admit. You'll want to keep reading it since it's a wonderful novel. The yard is invaded at the beginning of the novel; therefore, the guards must be on patrol to protect it. Since the attack is so intense, only the sound of a dozen swords slipping out of their sheaths can be heard. One of the guards informs the captain that there is magic involved because the attack is out of the ordinary.
In the first few pages of this book, Galen Bray—an immigrant from the Lands of the Princes—is also introduced. Galen Bray, our main character, is eager to leave his old life behind and begin afresh in Voulhire, the narrator says. The Emperor of Lullabies, a different character, is alluded to in the same passage of the novel. He is portrayed as the knowledgeable and wicked ruler of a vast and powerful nation. He is terrified of his four sons because they have put their differences aside and devised a scheme to sabotage him. Get a copy of this book to learn whether their plans would be effective.
I've always thought that fiction novels are challenging to read and comprehend, but Matthew Tysz disproved that notion in this book. He wrote a story that was simple to read and comprehend. One of the numerous ways he made this book enjoyable and simple to understand is by introducing and describing the story's primary characters in the book's opening pages. The use of the first-person perspective added to the story's entertainment value. Moreover, this book makes use of a third-person perspective.
My favorite part of the entire book was the story of the Emperor of Lullabies and his four sons. I loved every single aspect of the book. In addition, I loved a number of the story's characters. But because of his wisdom, the Emperor of Lullabies made me love him even more. He was able to read his sons' malicious intentions thanks to his wisdom. My least favorite character in the narrative was King Wilhelm. His betrayal of his friend Meldorath didn't sit well with me.
All the characters and places mentioned in the story had simple names. A map that was included at the beginning of the book also helped me to comprehend the plot better. It was also great how the story was broken up into manageable chunks. The plot was easier to follow as a result. The writing was excellent and well-structured. The plot moved along well. The feature I liked the most was the one. Absolutely nothing about this book disappointed me.
This book underwent exceptional editing, as seen by the lack of flaws in it. The cover was also fantastic. The title was catchy and well-chosen. I rated this book 5 out of 5 stars. The plot was intriguing, and there were no errors, which are the two main reasons why I gave it this kind of rating. The readers who would enjoy this book the most are those who read fiction. I, therefore, recommend it to fans of fiction.
