[Following is a volunteer review of "Terms of Service" by Craig W. Stanfill.]

Imagine living in a world where you create Artificial Intelligence, and they make all the necessary decisions for you. Kim lives in such a world, and sometimes, she gets fed up with it because it feels like she doesn't have freedom of choice. Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill is a science fiction book about Kim and her daily affairs with 'The Artificial Intelligence Company,' her workplace. The Artificial Intelligence Company monitors the activities of citizens, rewarding good behaviors by adding grade points and punishing inappropriate behaviors by subtracting grade points.

Recently, there's been a new situation in the districts. There is a group of Anti-Mentorists 'kidnapping' children, not giving out their children to mentors as the government demands. Children are handed to mentors before the realization of their parents, as a societal rule. Sadly, Kim is a victim of late handover, so she still dreams of her mother and traumatizes by the experience. Presently, Kim has been chosen amongst others to be part of the group hunting down the Anti-Mentorists. Is the mission going to be successful? How is she going to overcome the situation?

From the title, Terms of Service, the book works with a set of rules and regulations guiding the districts. This book consists of 19 chapters and about 316 pages. Quite a rare fiction, I must say. Terms made to regulate 'customers' can be changed without notice. At first, one would expect this book to be somewhat uninteresting, but I just happened to continue flipping through pages, reading more. The plot is unique and overwhelming. I would wonder why AIs would have so much control over human activities.

I like that this book is a comfortable read. There were no flawed settings or boring chapters. Kim's story always made me feel like there was more she didn't know and would find out later. On this note, there is nothing I dislike about this book. Additionally, this book, Terms of Service, is exceptionally edited. There were no grammatical, typographical, or punctuation errors.

I rate Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill five out of five stars. The author did a remarkable and convincing job. I, for one, liked how he ended the book with those bold words about how the future is now. The numerous mysteries in the book were things that I yearned to unravel. I recommend this book to lovers of science fiction, both the usual and unusual.

Kim must be having a had time being monitored and controlled by Artificial Intelligence. I, for one, would love to eat whatever I choose. Apart from this, I understand why some individuals would go against the authorities, especially with the case of holding back their children. This review is nicely written. I would just love to see how Kim goes through the experience.

I do not like the idea of living in a world of AI. It's also sad to discover the inefficiency of the AI on the issue of Kim's trauma and memory. I look forward to the next event unfolding. Nice review.

That's one scary dystopian future. I had read other reviews of the book, but I never had truly got the point of the plot until I read yours. Great job!

He made Prophecy of The Heron a sequel to this book. Kim's mission gets played out fully in the book. Nice review. I agree with the unusual fiction thought.

I'm interested in books on AI topics but science fiction is not my thing. Though the book sounds interesting, I think I can't handle the plot, characters, and story, so I'll skip it. This is a great review by the way. Keep it up!

I remember reading a sample of this book. I am also curious to find out what happens to Kim in this unique world she lives in and if she can break free. I love your book review because it clarified some essential parts I was wondering about. Keep up the excellent work!

Such a strange place to be. Too many restrictions and controls on the life of citizens. Kim looks like a character that might overcome the system for a greater good. I hope that happens. Nice review.

I felt sorry for Kim's journey in this book. She was confused, controlled, hurt, and sad. It is saddening from the day she was born that her life was destined to control. I wish freedom and joy for Kim. Your review is awesome!

I really enjoyed reading this book and I perceived Kim to be such a strong character. The Ai is taking over the world now and soon, just maybe, our world would turn to that of Kim's.

A weird plot. I wouldn't imagine having to eat what AI demands. The Anti-Mentorists seem to be the good guys, not wanting to be controlled, like rats, by robots. I want to know Kim's next move.
