Engaging and Insightful!

Reconfigurement: Reconfiguring Your Life at Any Stage and Planning Ahead by E. Alan Fleischauer provided some powerful insights on financial planning and retirement. Reconfigurement is a self-help non-fiction book about retirement and financial planning. Retirement might be something that is not really talked about but the author was able to provide another perspective and display his expertise on why planning for your retirement is something you should consider even at a young age. What's good about the book is that it provides actionable steps on how you can take this. The author was able to hook the audience's attention and emphasize the urgency of the problem by citing that around 40$ of Americans do not have enough cash to cover a $400 emergency. This means that this is a problem that most face and it's something that's really sensitive to the current situation.

Delivery is great and avoids information overload as a reader through the jokes included in the text, although some people might not have the same sense of humor as the author. Regardless, the book caters to various kinds of audiences as the author was able to explain these concepts and break these concepts down really well for the average reader. This is an easy read.

Overall, a good read. 5 out of 5. However, one setback is that this book is contextualized for those living in the U.S. so it might not fit well for those living in other countries. Regardless, some tips are still applicable in your personal life. This book is for those who are interested to get to know more how to plan your finances better. Don't miss out on this opportunity to get to know some steps on how you can retire comfortably.
