Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula

[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
Inca and her furry detectives have just returned from Sri Lanka. Their trip was filled with so much adventure and events, as usual. That wasn't a surprise for the gang since they are a part of the best detective agency in town. At home, Missy, their human owner, or as they call her, "mother," was talking to Solo about an email she received that included an invitation from the famous French cooking school "Le Cordon Bleu" to be a judge in the French patisserie competition held in Seoul, South Korea. She also saw it as an opportunity to showcase her new precious cheese, "creme de la crème." Only when they reach Incheon airport in Seoul do they find out that the bag of cheese is missing. Who took it and why? You have to read the book to find out.
The first thing that attracted me to the book Cat Detectives In The Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi was the cover. I thought it was clever that the author dressed Inca, the main cat character, in a hanbok. It summed up the entire story in one picture. The characters were also very well built; the readers, who are kids, can easily tell apart the characters and what significant attributes they possess. The book also depicts a wide range of information, whether about cats, the country, or cheese. The author has managed to make the book as educational as it can be in a fun way. Teamwork, trust, and helping others are the key elements of this story, which are very beneficial traits for kids to learn.
There isn't almost anything I disliked about the book; even the illustrations were cutely made and did not overwhelm the plot of the story.
I would rate this book a 5 out of 5. It was exceptionally edited since I didn't find any mistakes in it. The story was very amusing and educational at the same time, which is the best combination to put into a children's book.
I would recommend this book to any young readers or animal lovers who enjoy reading books.
