Review of Man Mission

[Following is a volunteer review of "Man Mission" by Eytan Uliel.]
This fantastic novel, Man Mission, is full of adventure. Longtime college pals Charlie Brown, Sam, Alec, and Daniel travel the globe on several missions while also sailing, cycling, hiking, and taking rides. Initially, Charlie and Sam are on a first-man mission, during which Charlie sprains his ankle and later receives transportation from drug traffickers. When they decide to make the events a yearly tradition, Daniel gets involved and begins to plan them. Alec joins as well after settling in at Charlie's inn.
As the years go by, they all go on various missions, and we discover more about their complex marital arrangements and day-to-day professional struggles. Charlie tells us about their courtships and subsequent successful marriages. Sometimes their marriages are tested, and Daniel suffers the largest loss of the four companions. Charlie is split up from his girlfriend Rachel after drug dealer Alec, who had been single his whole life, suddenly gets married.
Who would have imagined that a book about adventure and travel would be so fascinating? I enjoy the soldiers' arduous journeys and the close calls they have. They are all described as "brave guys" with a genuine spirit of adventure. At first, the man's whole goal seems like a joke, but he commits to it for 15 years.
I particularly like the Bible passages that precede each mission's account. This demonstrates the sense of Christianity that Eytan Uliel has. In case the reader forgets, the synopsis of each mission and the experience recounted after each mission makes it simple to understand what happens in each mission.
I adore all of Charlie's shared love stories and the wonderful family life that everyone has but Alec, but I don't like that he ends up being a single guy. I don't have to tell you how the story goes, but I think the author would have had Charlie and Rachel work harder to keep their marriage together despite their difficulties. I learned a lot, not just about friendship but also about what it takes to be a man.
Because the narrative is original and engaging, I gave this book five out of five stars. I didn't anticipate a narrative about traveling and trekking to be this captivating. I also suggest this book to those who like romance and adventure, since it has intriguing tales about marriage and love. Since I didn't find any typos, I'll describe the book as superbly edited in the hopes that I didn't overlook any mistakes.
