We all experience feelings of stress and anxiety. However, due to the fact that most people are unaware of the harm these emotional responses inflict on the body and how they trigger a cascade of progressively deteriorating illnesses, they continue to exist. Symptoms such as headaches, dry mouth, and chest pain, are a result of anxiety. Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress presents and explains anxiety and stress in easy-to-understand terms. It offers a thorough overview of the various ailments brought on by these two emotional responses. It discusses the psychological and physiological signs of stress and anxiety, and it stresses the actions to take in treating these illnesses physically, emotionally, medically, and nutritionally. The writers, Gustavo Kinrys, M.D., and Alexandra Gold, M.A., included examples from everyday life to demonstrate how someone can feel dread, stress, and anxiety. The book included information on certain physical activities one may do to feel better right away.

This book's language was simple to understand. It was a wise choice on the part of the authors to explore the drawbacks of the pharmacological approach to treating anxiety and stress. The book reveals that using medications with a high rate of dependence may make the pharmaceutical method of treating anxiety less reliable. There are non-addictive medications available, but they don't address the underlying causes of anxiety. Instead, they just treat the symptoms, and when a person with anxiety quits taking the medicine, the symptoms usually come back.

The book provided detailed instructions on how to use medicinal herbs and a wealth of information about the advantages they have for human health. Numerous food crops were discussed in this book, along with their health advantages in reducing stress and anxiety. One might be astonished to learn of the health benefits of the majority of food crops. This book also teaches readers the importance of mastering the four quadrants of physical activity, emotional maturity, mental toughness, and spiritual grounding in order to be free from stress, anxiety, and depression.

Unfortunately, the book contains an excessive number of medical terms. To the average reader who is not a part of the medical field, these words are foreign and may increase the complexity of the message. Ultimately, they may ruin the authors’ efforts to produce a simple and highly informative book.

I believe that this book deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Despite the presence of some complex medical terms, the book proves to be informative, eye-opening, comprehensive, and a wealth of knowledge. Each of these factors contributed to the book's final rating. This book also proved to be well edited, as there were no errors in the book.

I would recommend this book to adult readers, especially those who are in the medical field and those who have notoriously stressful jobs. The presence of complex medical terms may dissuade younger readers from reading this book.
