Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is the eighth book in the Inca Cat Detectives series. It is an interesting children's book with lots of lessons to learn from it.

The detective agency was headed by Inca. Members of the agency include Monk, Polo, Charlotte, Terrance, Cara, and Fromage. Inca's human mother, Missy, was invited to judge an international cooking competition organized by Le Cordon Bleu Cookery in South Korea. Missy also wanted to showcase her new cheese business in the competition. Enzo is a chef, whom Inca feels is jealous of the mom. What must have transpired between Enzo and Missy? Grab a copy of this book to find out.

There were many positive aspects to this book. I am not a fan of children's books, but after reading this book, my perspective on children's books changed, and I must admit that this is one of the very few children's books I found engaging and interesting. I also liked the cover page of the book. It gives an insight into the content of the book, and it creates an image of what an intelligent cat looks like. The book was short, and I believe it's the perfect length for children, so they won't get bored.

The book was well written, and I didn't find anything wrong with it. I love Inca's leadership qualities. She was smart and intelligent. I also love the team spirit between the cat detectives. They were helpful in solving difficult situations. I like the author's narrative technique and writing style. The book was written in simple words, which children will find easy to comprehend. It was also free from errors, as I detected no errors in the book. This shows that it was exceptionally well edited.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to children between the ages of 6 and 11 because it is an educational book, which would be beneficial for children within the age range. It also has illustrations, which would make it easy for them to read.
