Once in a while we all need a break from the hustle and ups and downs of our daily lives. This is what Man Mission is about. Four best friends from college have made a point to be taking a trip once every year to different parts of the world to take a break and unwind. On the first trip, the narrator and his friend Sam go on a bike riding trip to New Zealand. They manage to complete the biking challenge but not without injuries.
Together with their other two friends, they manage to visit fourteen other countries among them Fiji, Japan, South Africa, South Korea, USA, Australia, Vietnam and Iceland. As these four friends travel across the world, they meet people of different backgrounds and beliefs, some of whom challenge their way of thinking. Each trip is a different experience with different challenges, but they manage to overcome them and finish with a celebration. The wives' committee, as they call it, is sometimes against these trips, but they somehow manage to convince them of how important the trips are.
During these fifteen years, they face different challenges in their respective lives. They get married, have children, lose and get new jobs, have marital problems and even lose loved ones.
In the midst of all these, they remain strong and help one another face their issues. The kind of friendship that these four friends have is one that can endure all storms.

I really enjoyed reading the book and appreciate Eytan Uliel for writing such a suspenseful story. I like the way the author relates scenes by giving us a clear picture of what action led to what reaction without any spoilers. The characters and scenes are well described, which gives the reader a clear picture of who a character really is. I also like the fact that the adventures never stopped, even though there were challenges here and there. I could feel the emotional rollercoaster that the narrator was going through during his trying times.

The book was not professionally edited, since I encountered a few spelling and grammar errors. These however, did not stop me from enjoying the book.

The author did a great job and therefore, I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

This is a book that I believe all readers can enjoy. I would however recommend it to those who love adventure and non-fiction.
