Terms of service by Craig W. Stanfill, is a wonderful science fiction book. How artificial intelligence has impacted people's daily lives and has been incorporated into every area of the globe is the major subject of the book. Autonomy, rationality, and everyday control were taken away from humans. The book places a strong emphasis on the potential for technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to both improve human lives and swiftly destroy civilization as we know it. Additionally, it provides a glimpse into a potential future in which technology would eventually govern our lives and make us more and more dependent on it for our existence.

The protagonist of the novel is Kim. She is an AI trainer who was brought up by a strict mentor; as a result, she is law-abiding, obedient, and a person who keeps her head down and minds her own business. Despite the minor inconveniences she deals with most of the time, she still pushes on and keeps her composure. She is plagued by dreams of her life giver and memories of the past that come to her in fragments and are impossible for her to recall.

She and Shan, her closest undergraduate friend, had a planned bicycle ride that led to an unexpected promotion to a higher rank—creator and a lot of other unusual and terrible events. Her entire life was turned upside down. Is she prepared to bear the cost associated with this recent and abrupt change?

I adored the author's ability to let us imagine what life might be like under the rule of artificial intelligence. The characters in the novel are quite detailed in their activities, which helps to make them credible, especially the main character, who appears to have a very strong personality.

Nothing in the book bothers me at all. It was an intriguing book to read and, in a sense, quite perfect.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book provides readers with a glimpse into how life governed by AI can be and is incredibly engaging, well-written, and detailed. The reader will also benefit from having new perspectives on the present and future. The author's objective was successfully met. The book was professionally edited and error-free. I heartily recommend it to anybody who enjoys a good science fiction book, as well as to anyone interested in machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as to students.
