John Thugard, also known as JT, is one of the wealthiest men in Arizona. Sometime after his wife, Annabelle dies, he sets up an entertainment complex, JTs World. On the night of its launch, a shooting brings the event to a standstill and leaves JT devastated as that hadn't been what he envisioned the opening to be. Following the tragic outcome of the opening and JTs devastation, his ward, Madeline, advises him to accompany his friends to purchase cattle at a distant ranch. Such an adventure would take his mind off the previous tragic occurrences and give him a break from reality. This is when the adventures of JT and his friends begin. In the course of his journey, he stops at different towns. In these places, he makes new friends who stick with him for a long time. He also comes across possible love interests. In addition, he encounters life-threatening experiences. Will he make it back home? Will he ever find true love after grieving his deceased wife? Read the adventures of JT in JT’s World by E. Alan Fleischauer to find out.

I liked several factors about this book. First, I was impressed by the in-depth storytelling adopted in the book. It is important to note that storytelling isn’t just a matter of patching together several words, but carefully curating events to flow seamlessly. The author provided a detailed description of every event in the book, such that it all added up to an impressive piece of writing. I also liked a few characters, especially the main character. Throughout the book, he comes across as a kind man who is looked up to by others.

The use of dialogue also went a long way to contribute to the impeccable presentation of the book. It brought out the personalities of the different characters. Through dialogue, I was able to identify the cultural differences between characters, especially JT and Chip. I found Western culture to be quite interesting.

In addition to that, Fleischauer has done a good job incorporating suspense into the book. I liked that the book kept me on edge and waiting to know what would happen next. I can confidently say that the author has successfully mastered the art of keeping readers in suspense. I also appreciate that the writer fits in humor even between the intense occurrences of the book. Providing comic relief helps the reader to release tension resulting from tragic or serious events in the writing.

Lastly, I would like to commend the author for writing the book in such a way that it can be read as a stand-alone. Although the book is part of a series, one can easily read it without getting the feeling that they have missed much from the previous book.

I could not point out anything that I disliked about this book. In my opinion, I find that the book was professionally edited as it barely had any mistakes.

Therefore, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This is because I liked the seamless flow of the story and the immaculate narration. The absence of errors also made it easy to read. Genuinely, I enjoyed every bit of this book.

I would recommend this book to any person who likes adventures and is curious about Western culture. However, any person who is triggered by graphic descriptions of violence should probably take a pass on this book.
