I enjoy reading sci-fi books. This one sounds a rather tedious task, figuring the plot and undefined characters as you mentioned are some features, I too would not like. I may sample a few pages before writing it off completely though. Comprehensive review Hazel, thanks.

I loved the way you described the book, Hazel, and it seems that the book requires a lot of effort to keep up with it. I personally love multifaceted but interconnected stories. I hate for the author to distract me with an abundance of details. Well done for writing an honest review.

I really enjoyed your review! Your honesty in expressing your thoughts on the book is much appreciated. As someone who's a big fan of sci-fi, your insights have given me a fresh perspective, even if the book didn't pique my interest. Thanks for sharing this lovely review; your writing style is quite impressive!

The book has to be crossed out for me unfortunately... I am no sci-fi lover and a book that would be tedious at the start is something I really can't deal with. Overall nice review.

I'm a little torn on this book - I usually enjoy SciFi books but your review has me a little hesitant with the pacing and the storyline. Thanks for your honest review as always, Hazel!

Review is interesting, I must say. I believe I'll be quite interested in learning more about what happened to Ava and Zek. I'm going to hazard a guess and suggest that Zek got Ava pregnant, which is how the problem with the unborn child came about. Writing is impressive.

This book seems to have an interesting premise, it is a shame that you found so many negatives throughout but I'm glad in the end you could enjoy some aspects of it. Thank you for your insightful review, Hazel!

Thanks for the direct review. It's disheartening that the only positives you took were the author's choice is dimple language and that there were no errors. However, even then you have noted some potential errors. I think this is a book I will be avoiding.

I read an article somewhere that there is a device that indicated plants produce different sounds depending on their 'mood'. Could it be the sound of creation? This book seems interesting and I was eager to read it until you mentioned that it was a difficult read. Anyways, thanks for the detailed review.

I like science fiction, and I consider this point of view on the negative aspects valuable, because most of the aspects you mention are very valuable to me. Thanks for your review!

I think the plot sounds intriguing, howver, the lack of depth in the characters does not sound appealing to me. Nevertheless, you have analyzed the book wonderfully, Hazel. Perhaps the author could work on the negative aspects to produce an even better novel 😊
