I haven't heard about that before, but since it quotes Marcus Aurelius, I'll absolutely love to check it out. Thanks for bringing this to my notice.

Oftentimes, it was mixed with Epicurus's philosophy as well. Have you familiar with that Greek philosopher?

No, I haven't heard of him. I'm sure he also made a great impact during his time and now.

This sounds like an interesting book, although the negative aspects you mentioned made it less appealing. Your description of the story is amazing though. I truly enjoyed reading your review. Great job.

Zek created Earth, his final creation, which needs to present to the grandmaster a fully functioning and balanced creation, for him to be a full member of the guild.
Zek certainly has a lot of work to do if he created Earth, and it has to be fully functioning and balanced! I enjoyed your review and appreciated your explanation of what you didn't like about the book.

Going by the negatives you highlighted, I may not read this book. But thank you for the honest and well-written review.

Another insightful review, Hazel! I loved how detailed you described Ava's feelings when she met Zek and how the story was compelling leading to the latter part of the book. I will have a tough time as well figuring out the place of each character, but still I am compelled to read this book thanks to your review! Excellent work as always!

This concept sounds very interesting, but I think it needs slightly better execution. Thank you for the wonderful and honest review, Hazel!
