The protagonist of this tale is a young man named Jace Grazer, who, following years of fruitless attempts to pursue his ambition of becoming an actor, returns to his family in Willocreek. His unanticipated homecoming releases feelings that have been suppressed ever since he ran away from home. Along with his family, he makes an effort to make amends with his life partner. Jace struggles to fit in with his family, and matters worsen when he unearths a sinister tunnel beneath their vineyard. He begins to doubt his family's loyalty when he discovers a hidden tunnel in the family's backyard, witnesses a death in the community and notices his father acting strangely.

It immediately becomes clear that this is not the only problem he will face in the future. Jace wishes to stay away from the subject because it is now a police issue, but all the evidence seems to be pointing directly in his direction, waiting to be found. Is his family really as committed as he thinks?

The primary character of Jackson's book, Jace, is an accurate representation of today's youth, with their restless attitude and need for adventure. Jace played on their need for instant wealth very cleverly. I adore how his family accepted him with open arms despite his treachery and supported him when he was in need. I appreciate how persistent Jace was in attempting to learn the truth about what happened at the bonfire party. When Jackson added the character Oliver to his tale, it became more intriguing and exhilarating.

No grammatical or typographical problems were present, and the formatting and editing were perfect. I genuinely had the impression while reading the book that I was watching a gripping thriller movie. No aspect of the book bothered me in the least. I didn't dislike any aspect of the book. I give the book A Walk Through the Grapes a score of 5 out of 5 stars for this reason.

Because of the book's overtly adult content, I only suggest it for young adults and knowledgeable readers. Those who like to read thrillers and criminal fiction will also love this book. It would also be ideal for individuals who enjoy a good mystery that will have them coming up with theories as well as those who enjoy surprising storyline twists and turns. The book contains some mild language and sensual material. They added a nice touch and had no negative effects on how much I liked it.
