[Following is a volunteer review of "Reconfigurement" by E. Alan Fleischauer.]
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a non-fiction book about a new strategy to plan for retirement. The author talks about how misunderstanding reality and following tradition threatens the life of many Americans. Thirty years have been added to the overall lifespan of Americans, yet they use the traditional methods that rely on assets. Following reality, they should switch from the traditional retirement planning strategy and adopt the new one. To have a good retirement plan, you need an assessment of your personal and career life. Work assessment is necessary when planning since it helps determine whether the job is helpful. Retirement planning entails many things, just like the author mentions in this book, such as life protection and insurance. Investing is important when planning for retirement. Investing has many options, such as individual stocks, government bonds, mutual bonds, and treasury bills. He explains every aspect of planning that people need to know to plan for retirement.
This book contains information that educates many people about finance and retirement. The author has been in the industry for a long time; hence, this information is trustworthy. It helps many people understand the importance of planning for their retirement even at an early age since he teaches them that they don't have to wait until retirement to plan for it. It is a special book to many people since life is changing; the traditional method is becoming ineffective, and it shows people how to adapt. I liked that the author provided links readers should click to read on topics he mentioned. The links contain much information related to what he discussed in the book. The presentation of the information in the book was great. Each chapter contained a specific aspect of planning, enabling the readers to understand the new strategy.
There were no negative aspects in the book. I liked how the author used a work of literature to discuss an important life aspect.
I rate Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer five out of five stars. The book was exceptionally edited because I did not find any errors. The book's information helps save and improve many lives since the author discusses a strategy Americans may apply in their current situation. He presented it well and used links to books and websites where readers may find more on the same topic. These are the reasons I think the book deserves a perfect rating.
I recommend this book to anyone wishing to learn a new effective method to plan for retirement. They will not be disappointed once they read this book. It discusses the new strategy and shows how we can practice it.
