Review of Killing Abel
God created Adam and Eve and put them in the garden of Eden, where he had constant fellowship with them. God instructed them not to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eve, who was only seven days old, did not know Lucifer very well, so she gave in to the deceptions of Lucifer and ate from the forbidden tree in the absence of Adam. Adam also ate from the same tree they had been told not to by God. God chased them away from the garden with a lot of consequences.
After they departed from the garden, Adam and Eve saw the necessity for reproduction, which was solely for the continuation of life. She gave birth to several female children and could not bear Adam a son. Eve later gave birth to Cain and Abel. Everyone loved Abel because of his tenacity, obedience, and respect. Cain seems to be the opposite of Abel. What do you think will be the consequences of their disobedience? Why do you think God asked them not to eat from this tree? You can get a copy of this book to find answers to the questions above.
This book contains a lot of lessons and messages that the reader can benefit from. I learned the power of choice and the ability to make the right decisions. This includes the necessity to think properly about the consequences of an action before execution. It is important to know that the disadvantages of rebellion were analyzed and outlined in this book, as well as the advantages that accompany the act of obedience. I learned about the benefits of patience and a sense of right judgment.
I would love to commend the author for his effort in making a detailed story and explaining some concepts such as love, faith, repentance, etc. Although it is an elaborated account of the Bible, it is suspenseful. Another feature that intrigued me in this book was the well-organized plot. The characters were not underdeveloped. I did not find any grammatical or typographical errors while reading, which implies that it was exceptionally well edited.
While reading, I did not find any negative aspects of the book. It was engaging and fascinating as well. As a result, I will rate Killing Abel by Michael Tieman five out of five stars. I could not deduct any stars because I could not find any reason to do so. I will recommend this book to anyone who desires to know the origin of man from the Bible's perspective. Also, I will recommend it to anyone who wants to develop their faith and reconcile with God.
