Kim woke up just like any regular day. Her housebot brings her a cup of coffee perfectly brewed, while the distasteful fridge serves her terrible breakfast, as the start of a new day, she follows the VR headset's instructions to reach her company and starts working. In a world where everything is monitored by Artificial intelligence, people like Kim are in high demand because she is a trainer with a special assignment which is to help the machines operate correctly.Although she does the job she has zero pleasure. What's the reason for her deep displeasure and what does she really want to fill her longing?
I compliment the author on his wonderful imagination; For example, while computers casually use the pronoun "I" to introduce themselves, humans because it scares the humans, they decided to always use "we" in public conversations. Also irrespective of gender, they wear the same pale colors clothings. One of the captivating part of the story is the bond between Kim and her AI robot Kimberly which proves to be one of a kind.
Also, the way Kimberly glitches whenever she starts to question the rules enhances the mystery will she gradually come to terms with human behaviors.
As a result, the story is quite unpredictable, and there are some interesting secrets you would wish to discover.
I rate this book by Craig W stanfill 5 out of 5 the story while satisfying is also one that makes you yearn for more. This book had me till the very last page. The simplicity in the communication between Kim and Kimberly proves that even non sci- fi fans like myself can understand the logic of the plot and get captivated.
