[Following is a volunteer review of "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" by Matthew Tysz.]
Wouldn't it be interesting to live in a new universe where magic exists and can either inspire dread or joy? A place where various individuals with various viewpoints reside Matthew Tysz's book We Are Voulhire: A New Arrival Under Great Skies provides a thorough account of this.
Galen, who has traveled far from the land of princes to the great city of Voulhire after receiving an inheritance letter from his uncle, is determined to start a new life. How well is he willing to adapt to this new and unfamiliar environment? Meanwhile, with the arrival of the new lord of Hillport and his family, who promise to do a better job than his predecessor by improving things for a better future, strange occurrences in Voulhire and more events unfolding threaten the peace. What awaits the kingdom of Hillport in the future? Read this book to uncover the mysteries and follow the characters on their journeys.
Judging by how well-structured this book is, it is easy to say that the author is a master in his field, as he makes use of understandable words. This is a well-written book, and I enjoyed the plotting of the book. I found it engaging. Even with the book set in the Middle Ages, infused with magic and other supernatural elements, I was still able to understand the scenes perfectly. The description in this book is truly impeccable, and the author's inclusion of a map of Voulhire made the book seem real, believable, and easy to visualize. Characterization is another aspect I like about this book. Each of the characters was independent, with specific roles and personalities. Of all the characters in the book, I was most fond of Lord Eldus, who is a charismatic and selfless character whose aim is to help improve Hillport.
This book is a real page-turner. I enjoyed the structure of this book as it moved at a steady pace. It has many characters, which, I think, were perfected from the perspective of the author. I also liked the book's description, as I was able to visualize the events in it. The writing style of this book is commendable, as the author can maintain balance and communicate with the readers. This was exceptionally well edited, and for these reasons, I will give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to people who love suspense, mysteries, and many more, as they will enjoy it.
