This book is a fictional biography of Hiram McDowell, written by William H. Coles. He led a difficult life, unconcerned with the emotions of others and preoccupied with his joys and accomplishments. We all have imperfections, which is what makes us human. From the start of creation, we made mistakes. Yet what sets us apart from people is our capacity to admit our errors and work to improve.

The three of Hiram McDowell's children are cared for by his third wife, Carole, with whom he resides. He wanted to be the president of the International College of Surgeons, so he used Michael O'Leary to his advantage to win the job. He deceived Michael, had multiple affairs with women away from his house, and killed his friend. While he wasn't the kind of guy most people would want to associate with, nature has its rules. Every action has a cost, which one must bear. What do you believe happened to Hiram? Learn more by reading this book.

I did find this book fascinating to read. The shocking and unexpected twist in the story was what I enjoyed most about this novel. Nobody could have predicted Hiram's fate the way it did. I had emotional instability when I was reading this book. I used to detest Hiram so much and pray for him to suffer a lot, but eventually, I began to feel sorry for him and asked God to give him another opportunity. Ultimately, I realized how much I hated everyone who was against Hiram and those who wanted him to fail. This book has a lot of moral teachings. We should learn not to seek retribution, even though some individuals are wicked or have many wounds. So that we won't later regret our conduct, we should file a lawsuit and let nature take its course. Never act without first considering the effects.

Absolutely nothing about this book bothered me. In my opinion, one of the finest fiction novels on my shelf is this one. This book was professionally edited, as I discovered a few errors while reading it. Also, the author did a great job with the character development in this book. He took his time building each character without rushing them into the story. No reader will become bored reading this book because it is jam-packed with comedy and emotions.

McDowell receives a rating of 5 out of 5 stars from me. People who enjoy reading fictitious biographies and works about families with minimal action should read this book.

A man unbothered by the ways and things of the world, who instead has created ways to make himself happy and joyful, now that's a story.

This man lives in the moment and is not bothered about things happening around him. The story has a great storyline and I would love to know what becomes the fate of McDowell. Thanks for a well-detailed review.

The character of McDowell was very bad and self centered. But am glad that he changed his ways at the end

McDowell seems like a very interesting character to watch out for.
His quest for power and selfish ambitions is not an uncommon trait in reality.
Thanks for the enlightening review.

McDowell was interesting but there was alot if f questionable things about the book of which the basic one was how Hiram was able to attain such a professional position with such an attitude?

Hiram was an outrageous and mean man, but how he rose up on the ladder of leadership will remain a mystery to me until I read the book ofcourse. I mean, he killed his friend! I wonder whatever for.

I think the life of McDowell wasn't something one can learn from but how he ended is definetly a lesson everyone should learn

The relationships between the characters are nuanced and realistic, with all their flaws and complexities.
