The future civilization described in Craig W. Stanfill's book Terms of Service is one in which artificial intelligence (AI) has a significant impact on human culture. The novel provides a priceless glimpse into a world where artificial intelligence is in charge while also outlining its significant drawbacks, like restrictions on free will and human rights, that further question the improvement and advancement of AI and how they would eventually affect and modify all of human civilization.

Kim, a woman who works as an AI trainer and was raised by a stern mentor, served as the book's protagonist. In the artificial intelligence corporation, she spent five years as an automaton trainer. She is pictured getting rewards for doing good things and is a law-abiding, diligent lady who diligently goes about her daily tasks. Her life is monitored, as well as the lives of others, with the use of a device, and AI assigns daily chores via these devices. In order to give her life greater meaning, purpose, and authenticity, Kim yearned for experiences that were distinct from what she had come to know.

As she and her companion Shawn embarked on a scheduled excursion, things altered when they reached a restricted region, revealing the less desirable aspects of society. When Kim's misgivings grew, she started to veer from the AI course. Together with Kimberly, her AI creation, she chose to rebel against the system and vowed to resist in order to be free. Will Kim be able to quickly research and learn all there is to know about the system? Could she secure freedom for both herself and others around her?

I adore the author's writing, and I think it is amazing how he was able to portray the future in such a compelling way. It is not difficult to tell the difference between the actual and virtual worlds. I liked how the plot twist changed in an unexpected way. I also enjoy and respect the use of humour and sarcasm.

That was an excellent book to read and pretty captivating. There was nothing in the book that I didn't like, and I would read it again if I could.

The book was straightforward to grasp and easy to read, so I gave it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The book was exceptionally well-edited and error-free. I would recommend the book to anyone who is interested in science fiction or artificial intelligence.
