Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsular is a beautiful children’s illustration book written by R.F. Kristy. It is number eight of the Diary of a Snoopy Cat: The Inca Cat Detective Series. This novel consists of short stories carefully illustrated to engage the reader. Inca is a super-duper cat detective who heads Inca & Company. Inca & Company is a detective agency comprising several members.

I like how the story unfolds. It’s complimentary and easy to understand, making it entertaining. Each character suits their role perfectly. Above all, the nostalgic appeal of the cat characters creates a unique identity. Children might relate well to the sense of security it tries to provide.

Overall, this book is a fantastic read. I cannot say anything negative about it. The story is well-written, matching its target audience. The calligraphy of the writing fits into context with what the storyline unfolds. I also quite admire how the author undertakes an educative approach by mentioning facts about Siberia.

I rate this book a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. For me, not only did I enjoy the content but also how the author managed to tell a simple yet compelling story. This is a profound way of teaching children to appreciate the beauty of nature and the roles that animals play. Linking the animal characters to play the same role as humans were exceptional and captivating. The editing was also exceptional as there wasn’t a single error to report.

I see having journals as a fun way of keeping our records. This book is designed for children who like to keep a record of events in their journals. I highly recommend it to those parents who have such children, including myself. The series follows a close-up investigation regarding missing clues and precious stolen items. You should read the whole book to get a sense of it. It’s so much fun and delightful.
