Review of Terms of Service

[Following is a volunteer review of "Terms of Service" by Craig W. Stanfill.]
In a transaction, there are two sets of people involved: the seller and the buyer. In other words, one can say it involves the provider of the service and the receiver or recipient of such a service. For the sake of fair play, both the seller and the buyer have a role to play in ensuring a smooth transaction. That is why there are terms that a customer is expected to follow, while the seller has a duty of care to the customer.
While at work, Kim received a message that all trainers were expected to converge for a meeting with supervisor Cam. They were informed of an antimentorist group that had held some children hostage in a building unknown to them and to the housing company. According to the authorities, every child is expected to be given a mentor once the child turns four years old. It was considered a violation once this rule was not obeyed. Kim has been assigned to work with artificial intelligence, named Raphael in this case, to catch the culprits.
I would commend the author for his creativity in this book. At the end of the book, the reader will learn a lot from Kim and the other characters. Technology has indeed helped us by making life so easy for us. Things that were stressful before are now easy because of technology. At first, I thought to myself that this story couldn't be real, but there is an important message I got from the book that we need to think for ourselves.
I may need to disagree with the concept of self-interest. A child may not be happy with the mentor. Sometimes the mentor may be too strict with the child. I feel a parent will be the best person to better train a child. Also, I would not deny the fact that technology has helped us a lot to reduce stress. It is important to note that when almost everything is being done for us, it reduces our initiative and our ability to think for ourselves.
There was nothing I disliked about this book, as I could comprehend the story well. I could not find any errors in it, which shows that it was exceptionally well-edited. Hence, it deserves a rating of five out of five stars. I will recommend Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill to anyone who is enthusiastic about technology and wants to know how to think for themselves because they will learn a lot from the characters.
