Review of Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow

[Following is a volunteer review of "Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" by P D Botha.]
As humans, we come to an understanding about ourselves that causes us to ponder and question where we came from and where we are headed. The book, Yesterday, Today, And Future - Evolution And The Noosphere by PD Botha raises questions from the beginning of time (i.e., the big bang) and follows the route of evolution that our planet and solar system have taken.
Humans and other living things' origins and evolution are investigated. The evolution of humans' superior ability to reason and think than that of animals is also investigated.
Human interactions and ties to God are also thoroughly examined to determine our stand and place on Earth.
This book incorporates the ideas of historical luminaries like Albert Einstein, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, and others in an effort to find a solution to the dilemma of where humanity is headed. It also explores what happens when a person forgets about their true origins and the existence of God.
Because I am passionate about the subject of evolution, I was eager to read Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow: Evolution and the Noosphere by PD Botha, but I always worried that it would be dull. I'm relieved that I was wrong. It wasn't as hard to understand as I had anticipated.
Because it was filled with complicated terms that hurt the brain, it was very simple to understand. There were several terminology that I didn't understand, but they were explained and clarified in clear terms, so it wasn't a problem.
Considering that I had never heard of the Noosphere before, I thought the entire premise of the book to be fascinating. I was able to learn new things from this book and gain new perspectives.
I commend PD Botha, the author, for his ability to keep the reader engaged throughout his work.
He went in-depth on each concept covered in the book, never leaving his readers behind and keeping them interested with every page turn. I especially liked how he discussed tackling Christianity. Instead of opposing it and watering it down, he accepted it and created a link between religion and science. I found his take on it refreshing.
The only problem I found with the book was there were few inconsistency. Nothing much but I just thought I should point it out.
I give PD Botha's book Yesterday, Today, And Future - Evolution And The Noosphere by PD Botha 4 out of 5. This is because I found it very informative and enlightening. To those who want to go deeper into the concept of evolution, Noosphere, Christogenesis and others, I would suggest this book.
