[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
This children's masterpiece is a fascinating story that discusses an animal story that stars Inca, a super detective cat who, together with her team, tries to solve a couple of mysterious cases.
Inca is a cat detective who owns an agency known as Inca and Company; among the team are Fronmage Tobby's brother, Monk, a Russian cat, Terrance, Polo, and Charlotte. The first case they try to crack is when Inca's human mom takes the squad to Korea after being enlisted as a judge in a major competition. Knowing full well that this might be an opportunity for her to display her cake collection, she discovers at the airport in Korea that her cake was mysteriously stolen. The Inca company launches an investigation into the case. What will be their fate as they start their trip to Korea without Missy's precious cheese?
This is a fantastic children's book with a lot of action. The aspect of this book I loved the most was the colorful pictures the author inserted on every page. The photos were not just colorful; they also pictured the story that the author narrated. Another aspect of the book that I loved so much was the cover. It was desirable, and I bet any kid would love this attractive book cover. Another thing I liked was the Inca and Company group; this group was filled with courageous personalities. This may be inspiring for the readers.
There was nothing I could dislike about this book; it was an excellently written children's book. What I can only say about the book is that there is room for improvement, but there was never a dislike. Some characters weren't introduced well in the book, and that is where a modification should be made.
I will rate Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula: Diary of a Snoopy Cat by R.F. Kristi 5 out of 5 stars. This book was fascinating to me and educational when it talked about the Korean Peninsula. I couldn't rate this book any less because it was perfect for me. I examined for errors and found none. This book was free of errors. I will suggest this book to children above the age of 5. I also recommend this book to people who want to read a decent animal story.
