[Following is a volunteer review of "Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids" by Jemima Paul, Arvind Paul.]
What will Heaven be like? What will we see and do when we get to Heaven? How do we assure ourselves that we will get there? These questions are some of the harder ones to answer, especially to small inquisitive children. Emma is no different. Excitingly telling her parents about the dreams that she has had about visiting heaven along with her little sister, Bella, Emma explains and explores the good and the bad of the Christian faith-based afterlife.
Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids can help any parent of the Christian faith answer questions and point their children to Jesus. Filled with imagination and biblical truth, this book will take your child on a journey through Emma’s dreams of Christian afterlife. Emma’s perspective, along with her sister’s questions, helps to guide children to ask their parents questions about the afterlife of the Christian faith. Jemima Paul with Arvind Paul wrote an easy to read and follow story for parents and children that allows for questions and answers to what Heaven and Hell will be like one day.
I, personally, liked the illustration of the story as it related to the dreams that Emma was sharing with her parents. They allow children of all ages to step into the story and feel like they are in the dream with Emma. The authors also included bible verse references that would allow the parents of the children to refer back to biblical scripture about the events that Emma sees in her dreams.
The only thing the book lacked that I as a parent would have liked to see would have been discussion questions for prompting children to think about what was being read to them and to help open the discussion up more. Other than that, the book was extremely well written and easy to follow.
I found no grammatical errors in the book and the book appears to be professionally edited. I would give this book no less than 5 out of 5 stars.
I would definitely recommend parents that want or need a fun and beautifully illustrated book to help their children learn about the afterlife of the Christian faith check out Snatched Up to Heaven for Kids by Jeminma Paul with Arvind Paul.
