Review of Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula
The detective agency Inca and Company is well-known throughout England and France for its outstanding work in the field. This book describes Inca's journey to South Korea with her family.
The crew traveled to South Korea for a French pastry competition hosted by "Le Cordon Bleu," a renowned French cuisine institute. Ye-Jun, their Korean tour guide, received them at the airport. Also, they stayed at his place because it was cozier. They encountered Ye-Jun's dog, Baram, there. The goal of Inca & Company was to retrieve Bo-Mi, a kitten that had resided with Baram. I discovered the value of teamwork while enjoying this novel as the animals teamed together to save the day. I also saw why many people view certain species of animals as friendly because Inca and his companions could relieve some of Missy and Solo's tension by assisting them in certain circumstances. I also discovered that, in most cases, the kindness or favor we show others might return to us entirely differently. For example, when we help others, we may discover that we're additionally helping ourselves, as was the scenario with Ye-Jun, Solo, and Missy.
This book has many positive and hilarious aspects to it that I enjoyed reading. The way the author explained how everyone perceived the Siberian tiger was my favorite part. I also loved how Inca portrayed herself. She knew her worth and was not shy about talking openly about it. Another funny aspect of the book was when Inca said the animals collectively owned the human mother. It made me think that our pets probably think they own us. Finally, nothing bothered me about this book; it was exceptionally well edited, as I found no errors.
I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, even if it is a children's book. The narrative intrigued me from the first chapter onward, and I enjoyed the book's pictures. In addition, I commend the author for her unique tale and compelling writing. For these reasons, I rate Cat Detective in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi five out of five stars.
Kids will love reading this book because of the moral lessons they will gain from it and because it is presented in simple language. Kids will find it simple to read and comprehend this book. I also recommend this book to adults as a relaxing read. If you love animals, this book is for you.
