[Following is a volunteer review of "Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula" by R.F. Kristi.]
We are all quite familiar with the popular Sherlock Holmes movie and how it gave perspective to how awesome the work of detectives is; this book gives that same feeling.
Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula is a book written by R. F. Kristi. It is the eighth book in the Inca Cat Detective Series. Inca is the main character in this book, and it shows; she's the head of the Inca and Company detective agency.
I really enjoyed reading this book, and there are many things I liked about it. I liked the detailed information given about each event that took place in the book. Missy was invited to become a judge at a French pâtisserie competition organized by Le Cordon Bleu. The cats got this information while they heard Missy break the news to Solo. This, of course, got the cats super excited and extremely joyful; the prospect of going to such a distant country was one of the major things that got them excited, and I think that would have been the case if it were me. Missy had just invented a new cheese that she'd not yet let anyone know about, and this event was just the perfect opportunity to present it to the cooking world.
Another thing I liked about the book was the swift action taken by the team of detectives when they found out Missy's special cheese had been stolen. It really showed teamwork and team spirit among the members of the detective company.
I rate this book five out of five stars because I did not dislike anything about the book. I did not find any errors, which means the book was exceptionally well-edited. Furthermore, I recommend this book to kids who love stories about detectives and adventures. Furthermore, I think they'd love it.
