The Date Farm by Jack Winnick is an excellent book about two government agents that are brought in to help during several huge attacks on North America. Their job ranges from leading rescue missions to infiltrating terrorist cells. The book is very action packed with constant activity to keep you reeled in. The violence is at a healthy level in my opinion. It's there but not gory or difficult to read. Also, although it follows a married couple, there are no sexual overtones for those that are uncomfortable with it. I enjoy the fact that a book can be this interesting without being sexual.

I think Jack Winnick may be one of the best authors I've come across. He was extremely knowledgeable about the subject he chose to write about. His writing flowed very seamlessly so that every event rolled into the next with no confusion. The book was obviously professionally edited. There were either no errors or I was so into the book that I just didn't notice them. It was an absolute treat to read a book so interesting and easy to follow.

I can honestly say there was very little to complain about in this book because it was so well written. There were a few instances where certain facts were repeated more than a couple of times but, as it's so few facts it's not overbearing. It also seemed the author wasn't exactly in tune with how people would react in a situation, but again, it was in very few instances in the book. Everything considered, the book was excellently written.

I would absolutely give this book 5 out of 5 stars. My miserly little complaints just aren't enough to bring down the rating on such a wonderful, action packed book. It has a very distinct lack of profanity that also helps keep it from being offensive. I know I don't need to read a book full of profanity in order to enjoy it. It's very deserving of a perfect rating.

This book is perfect for readers that love action between countries that just can't get along. If you're into terrorist plans being foiled by the American government along with plot twists that include double agents then you'll love this book. Even if you aren't into those you will probably still be glued to the pages waiting to find out what's going to happen next. I am most definitely looking forward to the next Jack Winnick novel.
