Terms of Service by Craig W. Stanfill is a science-fiction novel that depicts a world where artificial intelligence is the driving force behind the development of sectors such as health, education, and finance. The protagonist, Kim, works for an artificial intelligence company and is limited in her choices regarding clothes, food, intimacy, and childbirth. Defiance from the norm is punishable by the Hierarchy, and the right to freedom and privacy is non-existent. Kim embarks on a mission to find the supposed enemies behind this system. The book provides a fascinating insight into a possible future where robots are deemed superior to humans and governance is through strict rules.
