We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a riveting tale that brims with optimism. The author skillfully weaves together different parts of the story to make readers feel like they are a part of it. Tysz's writing prowess is on full display as he carefully develops and intertwines various characters, effortlessly blending them into a seamless whole. By doing so, he paints a comprehensive portrait of life in Voulhire, showcasing the struggles, triumphs, and experiences of the characters.

As a survivor of war and poverty in his homeland, Galen jumps at the chance to leave it all behind and start anew in Voulhire. He vividly describes the death and destruction he witnessed back home, and his eagerness to escape it is palpable.

However, his path to Voulhire is far from easy, and Galen must overcome numerous challenges along the way. When he finally arrives, he is met with a series of troubling events that threaten the stability of the kingdom, from the shifting leadership from Orlin to Lord Meldorath to Lord Eldus' sudden ascent to power.

Matthew Tysz's writing in this book is a true work of art. His imaginative ability to craft the events that unfold in Hillport is simply brilliant. Even though the book is a work of fiction, Tysz's attention to detail and his descriptive language make the story feel authentic and thrilling. As a reader, I found myself completely engrossed in the book, eagerly flipping through its pages, thanks to the author's engaging and flawless narrative.

What sets We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies apart from other books is Tysz's use of straightforward and accessible language. The book is easily digestible for readers of all levels, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a well-written and engaging story. Additionally, the characters are well-developed and never boring, with Galen, in particular, standing out as a relatable and memorable protagonist.

The dichotomy between the heroic Galen and the villainous Lord Meldorath is masterfully crafted. As readers, we are left wondering about the true nature of Lord Meldorath's character and whether there is a more complex motivation behind his actions. The book is a masterpiece of editing, with no typographical or grammatical errors to detract from the immersive reading experience.

One of the book's standout features is the author's descriptive prowess. Tysz paints vivid and immersive descriptions of settings, characters, and events, which serve to heighten the reading experience and draw readers further into the story. In sum, this book is a must-read for anyone who loves a good fantasy novel filled with well-crafted characters, an engaging plot, and immersive descriptions. With its captivating storyline and well-crafted characters, this book has just become one of my favorite books of the year. This captivating story is a must-read for anyone who loves tales of courage, resilience, and the indomitable human spirit. It is a book that will transport you to a different world and leave you on the edge of your seat, eager to know what happens next. It should be noted that the book does contain some profane language, which may not be suitable for younger readers. I disliked nothing about this book, and I gladly rate it 5 out of 5 stars.
